Follow A Dream Announces 2008 National Hot Rod Association Drag Racing Schedule
Season Begins for the Permatex/Wynn's Top Alcohol Funny Car Team April 25th at NHRA Southern Nationals Outside of Atlanta

/Racecar and Racing News Articles/ - MARSTONS MILLS, MA, April 10, 2008 - Jay Blake, owner of Follow A Dream, Incorporated has announced that the team's Permatex/Wynn's Top Alcohol Funny Car will run a 12-race schedule this year in the 2008 NHRA Drag Racing Series.

The season, which will begin April 25, 2008 at the NHRA Southern Nationals in Commerce, Georgia outside of Atlanta, will include seven NHRA National events along with five NHRA Division 1 races.

"This is a very challenging schedule for the Follow A Dream team, but we're up for the challenge," said Jay Blake, who is the founder and crew chief of Follow A Dream, and is the only totally blind crew chief in the world of motorsports. "I believe that 2008 is going to be a great year for the Permatex/Wynn's Top Alcohol Funny Car with the addition of our new driver Marty Nothstein, who will put Follow A Dream back in the winner's circle very quickly."

Nothstein will be entering his third season in a NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car. After a successful rookie season in 2006, Nothstein found the winner's circle twice during the 2007 NHRA Drag Racing Series season. Marty's wins came at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida in the series' season opener and then in mid-July at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois. Nothstein finished 11th in the 2007 NHRA Alcohol Funny Car season points standings.
