"A David vs. Goliath" Story - San Diego Based Startup SSI-Racing LLC Will Race Two of its Engineering Prototype Electric Cars Against BMW & the Well Funded Tesla This Weekend at the ReFuel 2009 Event
ReFuel 2009 is being held this Sunday, July 19th, 2009 at the world famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA. and SSI-Racing LLC & other manufacturers and builders of alternative vehicles will showcase and compete against one another.

SAN DIEGO, CA, July 16, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Quite the "David vs. Goliath" Story when the small San Diego Based startup, SSI-Racing.com, takes on, with 2 of its engineering prototype cars, the cars from BMW (their Mini-E) and the well funded Tesla Automotive, this Sunday at the races at the ReFuel 2009 Event at the world famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA.

AC Propulsion, the company who licensed Tesla Automotive powertrain technology for their Tesla Roadster, will also have their famous T-Zero at the races as well. SSI-Racing.com will race its engineering prototype test cars of its 2SSIC 65 Coupe BEV (battery electric vehicle) model and its Green T model (27 Model T Roadster replica), electric drag car. SSI-Racing.com has also built and offers its ShelbEV (Shelby Automotive 427 Cobra carbon fiber rolling chassis) which unfortunately will not be racing at the event this coming Sunday. This car holds a world record in prototype electric 1/8 mile drag racing. SSI-Racing LLC has obtained the US rights to electrify these vehicles for customer purchase.
